120 Ton Pressure Vessel Tank Turning Rolls Conventional Bolt Adjustable Steel Rollers
This series is bolt adjustable type. It also can take self-alignment/self-centering rack. Our welding roller beds is designed for loading capacity from min 2T to max 250T, are used for the rotation and positioning of heavy, rotationally symmetrical workpieces like tanks, pipes or boilers for further machining or welding. We also provide tailor-made welding rotator according to customer's special requirements.
The standard models of our turning rolls have the following features:
Steplessly controllable rotary drives by means of A.C. or D.C. motor ((on request)) drive via self-locking worm gear reducers;
Schneider or Panasonic inverter to provide VFD speed control and synchronous rotation of two rollers;
Heat treatment to avoid deformation after welding; shot blasting is done for each part of the bed.
Fine machining is applied to develop the surface of base;
Roller distance is adjustable by moving the bolts and roller surrounding angle among 45°~110°, which is a safety range for holding the workpiece.
All motion parts are lubricated before delivery. bearings are life protected by seals.
Main electric elements are Shneider/ABB brands;
Remote box with Forward-Stop-Reverse and speed potentiometer are standard;
Wireless remote box is availabe for extreme long pipes or tanks.

Turning Roll is used for welding, polishing, glue-lining & assembling the cylinder body. It has several types for option: adjustable, self-aligned, screw type, tilting, anti-creep type, etc.
Adjustable welding rotator: the center distance of the wheels on the welding rotator can be adjusted manually, which the speed-control mechanism accepts the AC frequency conversion speed changing mechanism to improve the reliability of operating
Self-aligned welding rotator: it is suitable for different diameter workpiece, and it has advantages of stepless speed adjust, low noise transmission and stable turning under the welding parameter in the range
Screw welding rotator: it adopted screw to adjust the roller distance to be suitable for different diameter can be rotating on roller. It has large suitable range and convenient adjustment. The roller speed adopt converter speed adjust, the linear speed is digital display.
Anti-creep welding rotator: it is according to the cause of the workpiece shaft direction creep. When workpiece rotating, it do spinal running then cause shaft direction creep, through elevating of idle rotator, change the screw angle between workpiece shaft line and rotator shaft line, to make the shaft displacement direction of workpiece change. It is especially suitable for heavy workpiece and surfacing weld and clearance weld which have high requirement on precision of welding seam position and stability of welding speed.
