Flange Welding Positioner for Tubes Pipes Manufacturing 200kg 400mm table
A correct weld speed and run continuity are vital components of a sound welded joint. The requirements are difficult to achieve with a static work piece. Our welding positioner solves all of these problems by revolving the work piece at a controllable, constant speed. This allows the artisan to stand in one position and work in a permanently level orientation. The welding positioner can also be controlled to rotate the work piece at exactly the right speed to maintain a continuous, adequately penetrative weld.
Finishing a circular joint in one operation reduces completion time and boosts productivity. The welder can also sit or stand comfortably which reduces fatigue and allows for better focus on achieving a perfect seam. A welding positioner may be electrically or pneumatic-hydraulic driven and is available in a wide range of sizes to suit all applications.

Even with small positioning equipment it is important that the unit be mounted to a flat, even surface to prevent it from tipping. If mounting holes are provided, they should be used to secure the positioner to a stable surface to prevent tipping when or if it encounters an unexpected force. A positioner mounted to a workbench or stand must be also secured.
During welding, a ground current should be connected to the positioner itself. The ground current transfers from the table and into the chassis, which eliminates having to remove and replace a welding clamp continuously. Without proper grounding, electrical parts can be damaged and substandard weld deposits made.
Our positioner is compatible with the electric current produced by the welding process. Also, all ground cables are secured tightly by removing any paint before bolting to the carriage.
Slots are made on many positioners table, to allow the workpiece to be bolted to the face. Sometime, a good way that welding the part to the positioner can prevent shear forces from sliding the part as it is maneuvered. Any of these methods, whether stand-alone or combined, if customer apply properly, it will work successfully.
