LHJ Series Column and Boom Welding Manipulator for SAW Welding Automatic Seam Welding Machine
The L welding manipulators consist of column, cross-beam, elevating unit, staircase, trolley, electric control system, and so on.
The column is rectangle girder and double rectangle orbit style. On the top of the column is the elevating system of cross-beam. It is driven by the motor which takes the worm wheel and chain sprocket wheel. At one side of the chain is the oriented structure and the other side is balance iron inside the column which keep balance of the cross-beam. The bottom of the column is connected with the trolley by the swing bearing.
The travel of cross-beam is driven by the AC motor and worm reducer which drive the gear and rack couple. The welding speed can be adjusted in a certain range. To facilitate the operation, a control box connected on the control box, the remote box is equipped with operating arm speed potentiometer, arm movements switch, telescopic arm switching. The telescopic of cross-beam using the frequency conversion control, which with high precision and nicety orientation. There is an operator chair equipped at the front of the boom, which will be easy to control the manipulator.
The oriented structure is the part to connect the column and the cross-beam. There are eight sets of oriented wheel fit on the oriented structure. Every set of oriented wheel consists of three rolls with eccentricity adjust structure. It is easy to adjust the space between oriented structure.
There is ratchet wheel on the oriented base. When possible, as larger external impact accidents to the chain (10 times of design of the safety factor), ratcheting spine of the body will guide blocks and arm locking them in columns, preventing arm falling and causing accidents.
There is a trolley at the bottom of the column. The traveling structure, the swing bearing and lock device are fitting on the trolley. The travel of trolley is driven by the cycloid gear reducer which drives the gear couple. The turning of the column is driving by motor and gearbox. The column fixed on the swing bearing. The swing bearing is single-roll ball bearing slewing ring. It features compact in design, and light in weight. The lock devices on the rotation structure, which ensure it, not wobble while welding. The lock structure is manual. There is a grapnel between the trolley and rail which ensure the safe.
Furthermore, there is a staircase as subsidiary installations, which makes easy for the user overhaul and maintain.
Electrical Control Instruction
The electric control system consists of the electric control box and remote control box
The electric control box consists of the inverter, contactor button, etc. The mainly electric organ are using the famous brands, such as Siemens, ABB and so on, which are which are reliable performance and easy maintenance. It controls brake of the motor and meet the requirements of the mechanical action. And it can control and protect the motor. The frequency conversion system uses the YASKAWA system, which is low-noise, high-performance, multi-function transducer, no torque ripple. And other characteristics of the control signals using analog control, speed shows is using high-precision digital display meter, the overall stability of high anti-jamming capability.
There is remote box in the control system, which is easy to control and will be safe.
Usage of Welding Manipulator
This kind of manipulator could be equipped with SAW welding system, flux recovery&feeding system, welding seam tracking system and TV monitoring system, ect. They also can worked with welding rotators or welding positioners as a welding station.
