Compact and Versatile Solution for Small Workpiece Positioning

The HBJ03 welding positioner is a compact and reliable tilting/rotating fixture designed to precisely orient small and medium-sized workpieces during welding and assembly. It combines motorized rotation and tilting to achieve optimal positioning angles, enhancing weld quality and operational efficiency.

System Description

The worktable is rotated by an AC motor through a worm gear reducer. The reducer’s output pinion engages with a slewing bearing, which is rigidly coupled to the worktable, ensuring smooth and precise rotation.

Tilting is driven by a motorized twin-stage worm reducer, transferring torque to a sector gear. A long shaft with a mounted pinion ensures synchronized tilt motion. The design includes flexible drive coupling to absorb torque pulses, minimizing impact damage to the motor and gearbox during overload.

The speed of rotation is controlled via a stepless AC inverter system. The foot switch allows convenient hands-free control of rotational direction. The system is controlled via a remote pendant and electric control box, equipped with Siemens components and Yaskawa inverter for high accuracy, low noise, and excellent anti-interference performance.
